A group of Luristan bronzes including an axe head with ribbed handle, bearing three protuberances behind, another similar, with flat-topped blade -- 5¾in. (14.5cm.) and 3¾in. (9.5cm.) long respectively, an adze head -- 5½in. (14cm.) long, a figure of a stag and a zebu, both with suspension loop on the shoulders -- 2¾in. (7cm.) long av., a sword with leaf-shaped blade, the hilt with recess for inlay, an indented outline flaring to crescentic pommel -- 14¼in. (36.2cm.) long, a harness bell of open-work cage form with suspension loop, ball missing -- 2 1/8in. (5.4cm.) high, mainly circa 8th Century B.C.; and three bronze multi-faceted weights, each with circle and dot decoration, 29, 14.6 and 4 grammes, 6th-7th Century A.D.; five Sassanian and Persian style silver bowls -- 8in.
