A late Victorian satinwood and marquetry cylinder bureau, inlaid overall with tulipwood bands and boxwood and ebony lines, the raised galleried super structure with three drawers above fall inlaid with flowering classical urn, scrolling foliage and grotesque masks, enclosing fitted interior with leather-lined slide above five drawers about an arched kneehole on square tapering legs with spade feet, stamped Maple & Co., Ld. - 48in. (122cm.) wide, 22½in. (57cm.) deep, 46in. (117cm.) high.
