An Etruscan bronze socketed axe head, the mouth square in section, the long rectangular neck with lattice pattern in relief, broadening at the sloping shoulders to form the blade -- 5½in. (14.1cm.) long, circa 8th-7th Century B.C.; and a socketed axe head with flaring edges and side loop -- 5 1/8in. (13.2cm.) long, 2nd-1st millennium B.C.
