A pair of late nineteenth/early twentieth century French bronzed spelter metal figures after Auguste Moreau of ladies playing battledore and shuttlecock, each with racket, one with shuttlecock, on naturalistic bases on stepped simulated marble plinths with engraved plaques, one inscribed "Jeu de Raquette", the other "Jeu de Volant" -- 14in. high.
