A mid Georgian walnut chest-on-chest, banded overall in fruitwood, with moulded cornice above two short and three graduated long drawers, the base with two deep drawers, on bracket feet, the back with inscription This chest of drawers i give to Mary Elinett one month after my Decease 1770 (six) restorations to cornice, the base reduced in height, the sides, feet and top re-veneered -- 39½in. (100cms) wide x 66in. (167½cms) high x 21in. (53½cms) deep.
