An Empire gilt bronze mantel timepiece, a bale of cotton incorporating the movement, flanked by a Negro and palm tree, the engine turned dial with Roman chapter ring, the oval base with frond trophies, on stylized bell feet -- 10¼in. (26cms.) high, on rocaille chased stand, with later movement.
