Of slender ovoid form with waisted neck rising to a flared mouth, worked in gold wire of varying widths with blue birds on branches of purple wisteria, the ground black and the shaped collar surrounding the neck patterned with florets and scroll in teal, olive, and rust, a narrow band of diaperwork in grey blue and pale orange above the foot, silver mounts, signed on an applied square cartouche--8 3/8in. (21.1cm.) high
