Originally sold at Christie's in June 1982 as the stocks excess to Sandeman's requirements. The average age of the component parts of this wine was 24 years. Strength 21.2. Sweetness 4.8. Baumé. Lovely rich chestnut colour. Intensely rich yet subdued bouquet as some TBAs are in comparison with BAs. And like all the greatest dessert wines, its sweetness counterbalanced by crisp acidity.
