This service was ordered by the Austrian Court as a present for King George IV of England on the occasion of his visit to the Vienna porcelain factory, made between 1821 and 1824 it consisted of 316 pieces. As George IV prefered several cases of Tokaya wine instead, the service was never presented to him. It was sent to Thailand and Japan with the East Asia expedition, where it was sold separately.
