Michael Rowe (born 1948) is among the world's most important contemporary metalsmiths. He is influential as a maker, teacher and researcher, and is a co-author of the seminal The Colouring, Bronzing and Patination of Metals.

His containers are inspired by conceptual thoughts about the nature and purpose of decorative arts today.
