Of bombé form, the sides applied with the Eight Immortals set between a pair of lion-mask handles and reserved against an applied ground of sharp-edged mountains, all glazed in yellow, green, aubergine and white between bands of classic scroll incised under an aubergine glaze which continues over the rim into the interior where the lower section has been left in the biscuit, the base glazed green
