A HELLENISTIC TERRACOTTA DOLL, in the form of a seated male figure with short curly hair, naked, 6 1/8in. (15.5cm.) high; another, similar, 7¼in. (18.4cm.) high; a seated female doll with hair dressed in a chignon, 7¼in. (18.4cm.) cm. high, all pierced through the shoulders to take separately attached arms (now missing); a head of a woman with hair parted in the middle, plaited and dressed in two chignons on top, mounted, 2¾in. (7cm.) high; another, with her curly hair caught up in a sphendone, traces of pink, blue and white colouring, 3½in. (8.9cm.) high; two smaller heads, 1 5/8in. (4.1cm.) high max., and a model of a stool with four tapered legs, 2 1/8in. (5.6cm.) high, some repaired, all 4th-2nd Century B.C. (8)
