The design of these tureens and the following salt cellars and mustard pots are by either Edward Hodges Baily of Thomas Stotard and are preserved in the Rundell's design book in the Victoria and Albert Museum. A similar pair of soup tureens covers and stands, by Philip Rundell, 1820, is in the Al Tajir Collection and was exhibited Christie's, London, The Glory of the Goldsmith, 1990, no. 149
