A RARE SANCAI POTTERY INCISED TRIPOD DISH, thickly potted with rounded sides rising to a flaring rim, supported on three short feet, the interior finely incised with a goose and three stylised clouds in the medallion encircled by eight lotus blooms forming panels enclosing stylised ruyi, the design picked out in blue, the glaze stopping at the base revealing the pale sandy body (tiny chip to underside of rim restored), Tang Dynasty
