Eiman was the fifth son of Omori Eishu. He became the third master of the Omori family. During the previous two years, he made fittings in Yokoya style. Eiman acquired ideas from Korin and style from the bunjinga. From these designs and his own technique, he made his mark on the Omori tradition.

Unusually on this piece the flow of the river is modelled in shibuichi hirazogan.
