A DUTCH WALNUT AND PARQUETRY MEDAL CABINET with egg-and-dart moulded cornice centred by a confronting C-scroll cartouche surmounted by an acanthus crown and flanked by trailing foliage, above a pair of doors adorned with three pilaster strips in the form of interwoven scrolls, with rockwork and acanthus cabochon motifs enclosing a fitted interior of fifty two rosewood and calamander-fronted drawers each with ivory handles and eight velvet-lined compartments, the waved apron carved with trailing foliage centred by a cabochon on scrolled acanthus feet, with label to the reverse 44, second half 18th Century, the fitted drawers probably 19th Century, restorations
