A BERLIN CABINET PLATE painted with figures in a domestic Beidermeir style interior, a quarrelsome man and woman seated with their backs towards each other flanking a table laden with a candle, fruit and sewing implements on a striped cloth, he smoking a pipe and she knitting, the white border with a shaped apricot rim and enriched in gilding with bell-shaped flowers on scrolling stems and with panels of symmetrical scrolls, within a shaped gilt line rim (minor scratching to gilding), iron-red KPM and sceptre mark, blue circular eagle and script mark, circa 1847-49????
