Kändler, painted outside the factory, the young man wearing an apricot-lined yellow coat edged in gilding, a white waistcoat enriched with iron-red scrolls, and lilac breeches, the lady wearing a flowered white sack-robe with pannier skirts and with a laced corsage, on a grassy and rocky oval base (chips to his left thumb and to hem and cuffs of her dress, wear to gilding, some firing cracks), blue crossed swords mark, incised No. 518., and 51/68 (indistinct), circa 1880
