Although it is possible that the name 'Abbas has been tampered with, the style is entirely consistent with the work of 'Abbas Shirazi, being particularly close to that in a qalamdan also with scantily clad ladies and with a lengthy inscription dated three years earlier, sold in these rooms 8th October 1991, lot 162
