Circa 1768, blue dagger and red anchor and dagger
Both figures standing before elaborate flowering trees and wearing brightly coloured striped and flowered clothes, the oval baskets at their sides painted with flowers, on four-footed scroll-moulded bases applied with flowers and foliage and enriched with turquoise, puce and gilding, each supporting to left and right a tôle peinte branch terminating in a blue and gilt pierced foliate nozzle (both with some damages and repairs and some chipping)
