A COALPORT GOLD-GROUND TWO-HANDLED 'JEWELLED' AND RETICULATED VASE AND DOMED COVER of baluster form, the body enriched with turquoise and gilt 'jewels' beneath a cream band at the shoulder reserved with gilt scrolls and imitation red 'jewels', the double-walled neck pierced with scrolls on the outer wall above a pink-glazed inner wall, the cover and base similarly pierced with honeycomb-pattern, on four high pierced foliate-scroll feet (finial restuck, one handle repaired, minor wear to gilding, minor cracks to inner flange of cover), printed marks and pattern number V.6043 SIS. 155, circa 1895
