Henry Montlow was apprenticed in 1678 and in the Clockmakers' Company 1685-1710. Comparatively few clocks by this maker seem to have survived, however an ebonised wall timepiece by Montlow was sold in these rooms 3 July 1991, lot 181 for (3000.
