The sitter is probably Elizabeth Freeman, daughter of Thomas Edward Freeman of Batsford. She was married to Sir Thomas Freeman-Heathcote 4th Baronet., M.P. for Bletchingly (1807-1808) and Hampshire (1808-1820), on 27 June, 1799
