The broad blade honzukuri, deep torii-zori with saki-zori and medium point chu-gissaki, itame-hada with ji-nie, wide ko-midare hamon with thick habuchi and ko-nie, full length broad grooves to both sides, ubu-nakago signed Bitchu no kuni Mizuta no jyu Kunishige, 54cm., in its ishime-ji black lacquer saya associated iron fuchi-kashira carved with geese and an eagle, the simulated hilt binding of iron, gilt copper menuki of seashells; and another wakizashi, the blade honzukuri, torii-zori, itame hada with medium point (chu-gissaki), hada obscure, midare hamon, midare-komi boshi, o-suriage nakago, Seki school, 46cm., in its black lacquer saya decorated with a peony and foliage in coloured lacquer, shakudo ishime-ji, fuchi-kashira with peonies in iroe takazogan (worn), shiiremono menuki and kozuka with plain shakudo tsuba (2)
