Carlo Guiliano, d.1895 was an Italian goldsmith who like his predecessor Castellani specialised in the reproduction of earlier styles. His work however, concentrated more on the designs of the Italian Renaissance while Catellani had favoured the Roman and Etruscan. Guiliano brilliantly fashioned his pieces to appeal to his Victorian clientele while remaining as faithful as possible to the principles of the Renaissance. After his death his two sons Frederico and Ferinando continued the business until it closed in 1914.
