A Meissen coffee pot and cover and a Vienna teapot and cover
Second half 18th Century, the Meissen marked in underglaze blue to the back with minute blue crossed swords, with gilder's 16, the Vienna with underglaze blue Bindenschild
Gilt and painted in colours, the baluster Meissen coffee pot with two scenes, one with a mule and a windmill on a grassy vignette, and one with a bull, a sheep and a goat before a ruin on a grassy vignette, flanked by flower-sprays, the neck with purple rocaille scale-pattern, with harp-shaped handle, the domed cover decorated en suite with a dog, flowerbud finial (the spout extensively repaired, chips to the cover), the Vienna balustroid teapot with two rocaille cartouches, one with gentlemen on a terrace, and one with a couple and a child in a landscape, flanked by flower-sprays, the tiny cover decorated en suite with strawberry finial, scroll handle, 10.3cm. high (handle restuck), and a Vienna teabowl depicting Watteauesque figures on a grassy vignette, the inside with Laub und Bandelwerk, with associated writhen-fluted floral saucer (hairline crack to the saucer, chip to the bowl, gilt rubbed) (3)
