A RARE UDA SADAKUNI WAKIZASHI BLADE
Iorimune, hirazukuri slight curve (sori), forged with o-itame, slight midare hamon (tempered edge) mixed with jifu and an abundanceof ko-nie in the monouchi area, almost hitatsura, very active sunagashi, nijuba and sanju-ba, some utsuri, boshi of strong hakikake with copious nie, tang slight suriage, signed Uda Sadakuni, Kamakura period (14th century), 32.5cm., in shirasaya.
