Höroldt with a continuous frieze of Oriental figures at various pursuits including gardeners among shrubs by a fence, a blind tea-tasting ceremony, a figure teasing a bird on a perch and with other figures writing and taking tea at a rectangular table and a calligrapher inscribing an oval shield beneath a gilt loop and flowerhead border with pendant Böttger lustre trefoils, the lower part with green and gilt applied acanthus leaves flanked by gilt scrolls and above a wide gilt band, the foot with iron-red scroll ornament (slight scratching and rubbing to gilt band and slight blemish to one rim), blue crossed swords marks, gilder's dot, circa 1725
