A GEORGE II SILVER TEA KETTLE, STAND AND LAMP

The stand on three animal mask, leaf-capped scroll and shell feet and with cast and chased openwork shell, scroll and foliage apron, the plain lamp with hinged cover, the kettle with curved spout, part-wood swing handle with Chinaman bust finials, hinged domed cover and detachable flower finial, chased overall with fruit, foliage, shells, scrolls and bees and with two shaped cartouches, one depicting Chinamen picking fruit, the other depicting Chinamen drinking tea, engraved with a coat-of-arms within an oval cartouche, marked on lamp, kettle and kettle cover - 15in. (38cm.) high
