The arms are those of Pearson impaling Cass, for Weetman Dickenson Pearson, 1st Viscount Cowdray P.C., G.C.V.O. (1856-1927) and his wife Annie (d.1932), daughter of Sir John Cass of Bradford, Yorkshire, whom he married in 1881 (4)
