The baluster body decorated in underglaze blue and enameled in iron-red, green, and yellow with a phoenix in flight above a qilin near an enclosed garden of rockwork and plantain leaves and below a full moon, all on an iron-red interlocking lattice-pattern ground, the neck encircled by a flammiform band, the domed cover decorated with a plantain tree below a partly hidden moon, also on a trellis-pattern ground below the knop finial and the everted rim--15in.
