Each of baluster form, on four shell feet headed by exotic figures, cast and chased with bucolic scenes of peasants after Teniers, the handles formed as a drunken figure on a tree branch, the spout of the coffee pot with rocaille, masks, and acanthus leaves, the handle leaf-clad scroll handle, the hinged domed cover similarly chased with scenes surmounted by a drinker and his keg, marked under base, cover, handle, and finial; the sugar basin marked on rim--height of coffee pot 9 1/4in.(23.5cm.)
