On spreading circular base chased with a band of dentilation, rising to a baluster stem with stiff leaves and a vase-shaped lamp with four panelled wick holders, with vase-shaped section above chased with palmettes and hung with various implements, and with movable cartouche-shaped shade chased with a gadrooned rim, surmounted by a beaded loop handle, marked on base, stem sections, and implements, the base with accession no. 425--32in.(81.5cm.)
