Of cylindrical form raised on four ball and claw feet headed by chased foliate scrolls, the tubular scroll handle terminating in a shield and surmounted by acrowned lion and ball finial, the hinged domed cover chased with a band of foliate scrolls enclosing engraved accole coats-of-arms surmounted by the initials ACSG and LWDT, the interior fitted with pegs, struck under base twice with maker's mark--8 1/2in.(21.5cm) high
