Of cylindrical form on three foliate ball feet headed by applied putti playing amid foliage, with tubular scroll handle with similar foliate decoration and ball thumbpiece, the hinged cover applied with a circular plaque pierced and chased with accole coats-of-arms, helms and crests, under the initials DR and CDD within a chased border of acanthus, the base engraved with a monogram, marked under base; also with scratch weights and numbers--6 3/4in.(17.1cm.) high
