In the Renaissance style, on spreading oval foot with rim of white and blue enamel, the foot with spreading flutes and an enamel join, the knopped stem rising to a gold scrolling biforcated handle with blue, white and red enamel panels and applied with a female mask, joined to the stylized shell dish with blue and green enamel dolphin heads, the interior carved with an oval coat-of-arms, apparently unmarked--5 1/4in.(13.4cm.) high
