Each shaped rectangular, the first engraved on cover with entwined initials and date within scrolling foliate surround, the reverse with Russsian dedication inscription, with cabochon pushpiece and gilt interior, marked with workmaster's initials PA inside cover-5in. (13cm.) long; the second of gilt silver engraved on cover with a view of the Moscow Kremlin within foliate surround, the reverse with a spring bouquet enclosing the inscription "Dr. A.S.", marked inside covers and rim with workmaster's initials P.T-4in. (10cm.) long
