The globular body on silver balluster stem and lobed repousse base, carved with a naval fleet and cypher AD beneath a coronet within laurel wreath, the slip-on conforming cover engraved with scrolling foliage, putti holding a victor's wreath and two birds, with Imperial Eagle finial, marked on foot and mounts-11 7/8in. (31cm.) high
