A ROYAL WORCESTER SKY-BLUE-GROUND TWO-HANDLED VASE AND COVER with a gilt gadrooned spire finial, painted by Charles Henry Clifford Baldwyn with five swans flying gracefully across a cluster of shaded wild grass above a band of moulded green and gilt acanthus, the reverse with a swallow, the cream scroll and mask handles enriched in apricot and gilding below a band of stylised leaves and scrolls at the neck, on a spreading foliate and gadrooned circular foot and shaped square base (finial restuck, slight wear to blue enamel below handles), signed, puce printed marks and model number 1572, date code for 1907
