The body with Herakles fighting Apollo for the sacred bronze tripod of Delphi, with Athena to the right in support of the hero, a bull at her feet, and Artemis and Hermes to the left in support of the god, ivy framing the sides, palmettes below, and the shoulder with two racing quadriga, a tongue freize below the neck, rays on the foot, graffito on the base, a pre-firing dent across Herakles, repaired and restored, 20 1/16in. (51cm.) high
