CHOSON DYNASTY (19TH CENTURY)

The round dish resting on a short ring foot with recessed base painted in the shallow well in underglaze blue with a wide frieze of flowering chestnut trees, several stands of flowers and rocks within double line borders, a single auspicious character in the center, painted on the underside in underglaze blue with sixteen staggered longevity characters below a pair of lines below the rim, a single line ringing the foot- 6 7/8 in. (17.5 cm.) diameter
