In two parts: the upper section with rectangular top and molded cornice above a conforming case fitted with sliding doors opening to a fitted interior with eight short drawers and pigeon-holes centering a prospect door opening to two shelves and a further drawer, all flanked by reeded pilasters; the lower section with hinged fold-out baize-lined writing surface above a case fitted with four graduated cockbeaded long drawers, on French feet
