In the Rococo taste, comprising teapot, coffee pot, tea urn on stand and lamp, hot-water jug, covered sugar bowl, cream jug and waste bowl; each urn-shaped, raised on four scroll feet joined by an openwork fluted acanthus scroll apron headed by rocaille, the lower body and neck chased with bands of similar rocaille below an acanthus scroll rim with rocaille at intervals, with fluted acanthus scroll spout and handle, the hinged domed covers surmounted by a multi-scroll acanthus finial, the urn raised on four sweeping acanthus scroll supports on ivory pads, the central urn-shaped burner supported by similar apron, the fluted acanthus spigot with ivory acanthus scroll finial, the waste bowl with openwork trellis and scroll bracket handles; the shaped oblong tray with similar rocaille border and acanthus scroll and rocaille rim, the openwrok acanthus scroll sid handles, the center engraved with a shaped oval reeded rocaille and acanthus scroll cartouche, fully marked--height of tea urn 18 1/4in.
