Of compressed globular form, the body applied with a foliate mid-rib below an anthemion rim, the acanthus straight spigot with acanthus scroll loop handle, with overhead turned ivory swing handle, the domed cover with foliate calyx supporting an ivory finial, the stand on shaped triangular incurved base with similar anthemion rim, the scroll supports issuing from masks and applied above with foliate scrolls and rocaille, joined by a beaded apron with similar decoration, the central circular burner on similar anthemion support and with wood scroll side handle, marked under base, stand and lamp--14 1/2in. (36.8cm.) high
