Comprising an oval bowl, maker's mark ?AN, raised on four paw feet headed by anthemion, the sides pierced with winged figures joined by foliate and ribbon swags above trelliswork and enclosed by stiff leaf and oval bands, with faceted cut-glass scalloped liner, marked under base--length over handles 11 1/2in. (29.2cm.); a circular example, maker's mark ?Ma, the faceted cut-glass body with tied reeded silver rim, marked on rim--8 5/8in. (19.3cm.) diam.; a rounded rectangular faceted cut-glass biscuit box, maker's mark CA, with silver rim and overhead swing handle, the flat cover with bud finial and engraved with a monogram and dated January 29, 1899, marked on rim--7 1/4in.
