A RINSENDO SCHOOL KOZUKA AND FUCHI KASHIRA
EDO PERIOD (CIRCA 1775), SIGNED YOSHINORI
The kozuka is of shibuichi plate with a polished surface, inlaid in shakudo with two crows against a silver moon and lines of a stream in silver below. The tree is in brushstroke style (katakiribori). The reverse shows a shakudo crow on a katakiribori branch, and is signed lower right. The fuchi kashira is of polished shibuichi and each is inlaid with a crow and foliage; the crow on the kashira is against a silver moon. This set is not signed--length of kozuka 9.7cm., width 1.4cm., thickness 5.0mm. (2)
