There are a number of artists who used these kanji (Masayoshi) as their art name. The kao of this Masayoshi is very close to the style used by other members of the Uchikoshi school.

AN UCHIKOSHI SCHOOL TSUBA
EDO PERIOD (CIRCA 1800), SIGNED MASAYOSHI WITH KAO
The oval brass plate tsuba has a polished surface. It is deeply carved with a rock cave entrance and a hawk in shakudo and gold accents. The reverse is decorated with the cave opening, cut from the front, and a bear with its paws over its head, hiding in the cave. The bear is inlaid in shakudo and copper. The kozuka hitsu-ana is plugged with shakudo--height 6.1cm., width 5.8cm., thickness 5.0mm.
