Depicting Roman emperors and potentates, the heads truncated at the neck and set within wreath-enclosed tondos on eight later canvas covered panels painted in grisaille with grotesques and arabesques (eleven in terracotta and two later in plaster, damages and repairs) -----all panels aproximately 18½ in.
