Worked in black and white wool in repeating alternating rows of stylized starbursts and floral garlands, enclosed by a border of spreadwing eagles and swags between columns, all on a lattice band below the repeating inscription "LIBERTY," the corners at each fringed edge with square reserves marked "E. GOLDEN MILLSTONE N.J. 1846," worked in two parts with center seam, fringed on one side, self-bound on the other; together with a dark blue, light blue and red woven coverlet in striped repeating rows of checkered diamonds, worked in two parts with center seam, with applied fringe on three sides, self-bound on one
