Of shaped oval form on four foliate scroll feet headed by pierced rocaille, scrolls and foliate decoration, the everted sides pierced with foliate scrolls, quatrefoils and anthemion, the rim applied with trailing grape vine and with wheat sheafs and masks at intervals, the overhead scrolling swing handle with similar decoration and engraved with a crest within a foliate scroll and rocaille cartouche, the center engraved with a coat-of-arms within an elaborate foliate scroll cartouche, marked under base and with scratch weight 70=9--15 1/8in. (38.4cm.) long
